Lauren A. Rode, Esq.
Lauren Rode focuses her practice on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies for individuals. Lauren earned her Bachelor's of Science from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY graduating cum laude with a double major in Communications and Applied Economics and Management. After graduating Lauren Rode returned home to Los Angeles where she worked in accounting at a prominent Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Firm in Century City.
Lauren Rode went on to earn her juris doctor from University of Minnesota Law School graduating cum laude with a Business Law concentration in 2011. While in law school, Lauren earned honors by being named to the Dean's List multiple semesters and competed in the annual Duberstein Moot Court Competition in New York City. Lauren was also the Secretary for the Native American Law Student Association.
After law school, Lauren returned home to Los Angeles and became a member of the California Bar in January, 2012. Lauren quickly became partner at a consumer firm in downtown Los Angeles practicing bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, real estate litigation, and employment litigation.
Lauren's practice is devoted entirely to bankruptcy and debt resolution. She represents consumer and small business debtors in cases under chapters 7, 11, and 13.
Lauren grew up in Los Angeles and is an avid Los Angeles Lakers fan. She continues to play competitive basketball, as she did throughout high school and college.
Lauren's mission is to guide clients through the bankruptcy process, giving them a fresh start, and often, a new lease on life. Lauren provides client's with a sense of calm and reassurance. Lauren enjoys meeting and working with clients to accomplish their financial and legal objectives.
Lauren is involved with the San Fernando Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Cornell Alumni Association.
